Hello everyone!!!
My name is Crystal. I am 32 years young. I have 1 child, and he is 10. I want to lose 25 lbs. My schedule is crazy, so I never have time for planning anything! I think the reason my schedule is crazy is because I work midnight shift. 7pm-7am 3 nights a week. I an open to all advice and I will try to answer any questions. Good Luck 2 you on all your goals :)

  • Hello new person! I'm the semi-new-again person!
What do you do on your days off? Try to plan something for one of the days off. Also, try fun things. Maybe go for a quick jog or bike around the neighborhood. Is your son interested in any sports? Practice them with him if you can. Fun time to bond with your son and sneak in some exercise! What kind of job do you have? Is there any way to add in a couple exercises here and there?

Beyond that, I'm not sure. Last semester I was finishing a thesis in addition to being a full time student and part time employee. Didn't have time for the gym or anything. Finally started doing other things like parking further so I would walk more and taking study-walk breaks while in the library (can't leave anything unguarded, so that meant carrying everything with me, heavy books included... walking with weights!). When I had a free 30 minutes, I would go to the school gym and do a couple rock climbing routes... to remind myself how out of shape I felt to encourage me to keep up the few exercises I could do!

Good luck on your goal! Explore the site and make a few friends, maybe join in a challenge on the board... even if it's just to try to make more room for fitness and diet (some only take 20 minutes a day, I spend more time than that checking emails.)

I'm going to friend you so we can support each other. My goals may be different than yours, but definitely understand the craziness. I find the simple fact of knowing that other people can see if I update my food or exercise (even without them looking at what I input... just knowing they can see if I did or didn't) helps me want to keep it up and see if I get more encouraging comments =D
