Hey everyone!

2 months ago I had my first baby, a little girl via c-section. My pregnancy diet consisted of candies and cupcakes, and now I'm facing a 30lb weight loss goal 10lbs at a time as to not become discouraged.

Pre-pregnancy I had no interest in excersisng or diets, I was too busy either drinking or being hungover. Now I am completely fascinated with calorie counting, dedicated to going to the gym 4-5 times a week and learning to live an all around better lifestyle.

I wrote my first ever blog entry, which I go into a lot more detail about myself and my goals. It's pretty lengthy for a blog I think... I really have no idea, it's just nice to potentially connect with other people who are in the same mindset as I am.

Anyways, I'm still trying to figure out this site and hopefully join some groups and make some new friends!

    Congrats on the little one.. Welcome aboard its quite a fascinating journey where you learn about yourself through health and fitness..

    Hi and welcome. I had my second baby three months ago but used MFP throughout so got got to my pre-pregnancy weight within two weeks, so counting calories really does work! Feel free to add me as a friend.
