Overdone today and now I feel fat

I ate 500 over my daily goal today. That has not happened before. My mind knows it is not a problem. But now I feel fat again. The way my body feels is just like I felt before I lost weight. I am close to maintenance and I am really far from fat (134lbs) but I need a mirror to believe it.

Why is my self-esteem tied to today's calorie intake?! This is ridiculous.

I will go look at myself in the mirror later.

    It's okay, have you looked at you weekly calorie intake and see if you were under goal any days that can make up the 500 from today?also you can do a bit of extra work out to feel better for the over indulgence. Drink plenty of extra water to help flush out some of the excess sodium if your intake was higher on that as well. Just remember one day of over earring specially only by 500 won't break your weight lose, as long as you strive to stay on track tomorrow. Also keep in mind that extra 500 could have just upped calorie intake close to maintenance that one day. Read few posts in here about people eating at maintenance for the odd special occasion(ie birthday,holiday etc) If you ever need support or motivation feel free to message me or add me as a friend.
