I started MFP on 2/25 at 233 lbs. But a few years ago, I hit my highest weight of 300 lbs. That scared the hell out of me, so I started counting calories on a little notepad and got down to 230. I stopped at that point, who knows why. Work stresses, not seeing any difference in the way I looked, whatever. Laziness is the most honest answer, I suppose. I don't have a pic of myself at 300 lbs, but here is one at about 275.

That shirt is so redonk. Ha.

I don't have a crazy story for why I started losing weight again. I was just looking at the top apps on the Google Play store and MFP was there. So I downloaded it and started going for it. When I started MFP I made the plan to take a pic in the same clothes every time I lost 15 lbs. Well, here is the side by side.

Left: 200 lbs - Right: 230 lbs.

Oh, and one more pic. I was insanely excited to see this yesterday:

I don't do any low-carb or shakes/pills or other BS. I just eat less and move more. I have a FitBit and get 10,000 steps per day, and eat at a deficit.

I'm halfway to my goal of 170-165 or so. In 3 more lbs, I will be at an overweight BMI instead of obese. Woo hoo! I'll be back when I hit my goal. I wish you all success, and thank you for reading!!!

First of all congrats, such as sincere, honest post! I love the idea of taking a new picture in the same clothes, think I'll have to borrow that idea. Keep up the good work!

Incredibly inspiring! You've worked damn hard and it shows. Makes me wish I'd taken progress pics along the way too. At the time you don't feel like much is changing but at the end you look back and think "Damn, what a difference".

Congrats and I'm sure the second half of your mission will be just as successful
