Do you happen to have a recipe for pancakes made with protein (whey) powder, or know of a web site that might have one? I came across one a few days ago, but I seem to have lost it altogether.

Thanks.

    INGREDIENTS:
    *1/4 cup egg white
    *1/2 banana
    *1 scoop vanilla protein powder
*2 tbs vanilla almond milk or skim milk
    *1 tsp ground cinnamon
    *1 tbs ground flax seed
    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Mash up your banana first, make sure it is quite ripe or else this could be hard…
    2. Then add all the goods and mix it up!
    3. Use a non stick pan and spray with cooking spray, put on low-medium heat
    4. Dollop the batter onto your pan (I made mine in tablespoon portions so I could eat more mini pancakes)
    5. Once it begins to bubble (took about 30 sec – 1 min), flip over and let sit for about another 20-30 sec.
    6. Slide off of pan and enjoy! This makes exactly 1 serving. I got 9 mini pancakes out of this, each about 3.5” diameter.

    Hope this helps :D
Oh and I like to add peanut butter/jam/honey on top :D

Ps: This recipe is from blogilates :)

I have one I LOVE. It's basically a modified Nigella Lawson recipe and it also has ricotta, which ups the protein even more.

Here's the nutrition info up front - it still has a decent amount of carbs which you may or may not want. Half a recipe will give you a good sized pile of pancakes

    Servings: 2
Nutrition Info per serving (based on MFP entry of individual ingredients)
    Calories: 400
    Carbs: 29
    Fat: 17
    Protein: 32
    Sugar: 4
    Fiber: 1

    1 cup ricotta cheese
    .5 cup 1% milk
    2 large eggs (separated)
    .25 cup plus 2.5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 scoop (~31 grams) Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein - French Vanilla Creme
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    pinch of salt
delicious but optional - zest of one small lemon

    1) Mix ricotta, milk and egg yolks in a bowl until most lumps are gone.
    2) Stir in the flour, protein powered, baking powder and salt and whisk until batter is smooth.
    3) Beat the egg whites until they become just a little foamy - you can easily do this by hand with a fork in just a minute.
    4) Heat butter in a large frying pan and drop in heaped spoonfuls of batter. You can make them smaller or larger depending on your preference - just keep in mind the nutritional info per serving is based on eating one half of the recipe.
    5) Cook the pancakes for about 1 minute until golden and then flip them over and cook for another minute.

Serving suggestion - top with raspberries and ripe bananas and if you like maple syrup, a tablespoon or two will go a long way with these pancakes.

BTW, you can probably sub more of the flour with protein powder. I was just afraid to do too much!

    These

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/991227-ultimate-protein-pancakes-omg?hl=pancake

They are dry if you don't add fruit though... I use whole wheat pastry flour, they are delicious.
