How many calories per meal is best?

I've been eaten about 400 to 500 calories per meal including snacks, is that too much?

Only if the total is more than your goal.

Once you figure your healthy calorie deficit, the way you divide the calories is up to you. I meal, 3 meals, 10 meals - whatever works for you - just making sure that the total calories for the day is correct.

Depends on your daily calorie goals. I aim for 1200 calories/day so i try to keep my meals around 300-400 calories each so that I can fit in a small snack or two.

As many or as few as you want as long as it fits in your goals and you feel good while doing it.

Meal timing and the distribution of your calories will have no significant impact on your weight loss. It may affect your energy levels, concentration, gym performance, etc.

Eat in the way that fits best into your schedule, allows you to train like a beast, and makes you feel the best throughout the day. It's okay to experiment to see what's best for you.
