Ok usually I look at a bunch of stuff and picked the higher calorie of whatever looks similar to what im eating if I can't find exact and this has been "working " for me so far.Yesterday I planned for quesadillas....I worked out for them and to have a deficit... A BIG deficit. I ate three.... and from that moment it was bugging me. I was thinking 850 calories is a lot so why don't I feel right. I made these at my house so I decided this morning ( because it WAS STILL BOTHERING ME) to sit down and really calculate out... 1215 calories..... a 400 + deficit gone JUST LIKE THAT...... I am so frustrated. I have made so many strides forward but I just keep wondering .... Is this going to get easier?
UGH to answer myself
YES YES IT IS....
It got easier to log everyday...
It got easier to be active 5x a week
It got easier to give up most empty calories....
but I wont lie.... today is a day where I realize I'm not where I want to be and it sucks....
wow... I hope all that made sense... I'm angry typing and that never works out well

Don't understand, what wasn't accurate?0

Im sorry....
I originally logged my quesadillas at 850 calories..... they were actually 1250..... I wasn't accurate....0 -
That sucks. I ate out recently and I knew I had calories so I just ordered what I wanted. BIG mistake. Here's how I look at it - now you know. Those quesadillas will not get another chance to make you fat. You saw, you calculated, and next time it'll be one quesadilla and a salad.0

Not sure if you made them or were eating out, but if you were making them it's definitely always best to enter in the recipe with the exact ingredients you're using. If you're eating out, thats always more difficult, you may need to ask for nutritional info from the restaurant if it's available at all. But! You live and learn, one day of eating over isn't going to ruin your diet!0

I did something similar a few weeks ago. I had just enough calories left for a treat, so I decided to get a coffee with cream and sugar from Dunkin Donuts. I had one just a week or two before that, so I remembered the calorie count and didn't log it until I got home. When I got home I realized that I had remebered the calories for the medium, but had ordered and drank the large - almost twice as many calories.
The past is in the past, so all you can do now is learn from it and keep moving forward.0 -
