This gorgeous flowing ankle-length dress I've had for eight years and never been able to wear outside? Zipped. Up. This. Morning. With room to spare.

It was a gift from my husband before we were married. I'mm'a wear that sucker to dinner with him this week. Good Lawd!

    I had a similar experience recently when I was able to wear the dress I wore in my engagement pictures 11 years ago.

    I had a similar experience recently. I had a bit of a meltdown about all my clothes being *too large* and looking awful/not showing off my new figure, so the next day I got rid of some and altered others. I also pulled a favorite dress out of my "to fix" drawer and repaired it so it was wearable again. It was the dress I wore 5 years ago the night I met my now-fiance. It was always a little tight around the waist since soon after I made it, in college-- and now it fits PERFECTLY!! That was so nice. :happy:
