Probably not the response you're wanting to hear but you should avoid that stuff. Super refined starches + sugar = food you shouldn't eat for weight loss or even maintenance.

    Hooey.

OP, what country? If Australia try searching for Woolworths instead, same shop, different name. Otherwise just try and find a generic item for the same thing and check the weights.

^ Ignore this person as they are incorrect and what they posted is complete ignorant nonsense.

I've found several Safeway bakery items in the MFP food database. What are you looking for?

What is ignorant nonsense about what I said? Grocery store bakery items are made from refined, bleached white flour with the addition of sugar, salt and fat. The resulting item is a tasty food but it's very high calorie, high carb (which will spike your insulin a lot) and low nutrient. It's a terrible food choice.

Well yeah you don't want to eat them every day. But one every now and then will not kill you. It's not as if you have to omit everything delicious all the time to lose weight or maintain. Your way of thinking is indicative of an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating. Believe it or not you have an eating disorder. Foods like this once or twice a week will not kill your diet as long as you keep within your calorie limits. Of course if you just pig out on this stuff all the time you will gain weight. But food like this is good for the soul. Your soul needs feeding. And "Delicious" is it's macro nutrient of choice. Do not neglect it! Lot's of people do and end up not being able to have the willpower to stick to their diets because of it. I am dead serious.

And guys please there is so much misinformation out there that this posters opinion is entirely understandable. Please try and understand that it is so EASY to become paranoid about food. People forget that human bodies wear out and that almost everything we eat damages us in SOME way or another. They get fooled by hokey and broscience and end up posting stuff like this. Educate them don't insult them.

You DO realize what bread is made from right? The basic staple of bread is flour, salt, yeast and water. Sugar is often added to help feed the yeast and fat is often used to shorten the eating texture. Nothing amiss in any of those ingredients.

Dude don't be an *kitten* there is relatively healthy bread and then there is pure white bread loaded down with extra fat and sugar. Although yeah if you suggest leaving out bread entirely then that's wrong. But she never suggested that. You are putting words in her mouth now because you don't like her opinion. You should try and be nicer.

Yeah, and GreatDepression is a guy. Just decided to have a morbidly obese woman eating a cake as his avatar because....well I don't have a clue would have to ask him.

You're derailing the topic because you are bothered with my avatar? Yes, it's of a morbidly obese woman binging on a cake. I don't look like that but I struggle with emotional binge eating so I thought the image represented me in a way.

Here is a different site that you could cross compare with MFP's values:

    http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/search?q=Safeway+Bagels

Couldn't find info on the safeway page itself, there seem to be plenty of calorie counting sites that list values for these but I would assume they are somewhat guessing based on standard values. That said I would assume that things like rolls and bagels probably are fairly standard in their nutritional values and that you can probably trust those to be somewhat accurate.
