26kg down... but struggling to keep going!

Hi everyone. Last year I lost 50lbs through clean eating and working out at least three times a week. While I would happily exercise - going back to my strict diet has been a real struggle and I'm so worried I'm doing what I've always done. Yo-yo-ing. So, I've signed up in an attempt to get a grip and lose the remaining lbs (up to 60).

Look forward to being a part of this community.

    Don't usually do forums, but saw your headline and felt compelled to say well done! Quite an inspiration, so keep going :) - I've struggled with diets and I'm finding the 5-2 diet, or even 4-3 if your more determined, really effective so you can still - within reason - eat a lot of the food you crave, and just behave on the good days!

    I will say when I first started I did the 1200 + exercise calories. I lost weight, but struggled as I was hungry...a lot.

    Then I found the links below...

    TL:DR ->http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/975025-in-place-of-a-road-map-short-n-sweet

    If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
    If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
    If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
    If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
    If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal

    You can eat more and still lose weight.
    I'm 38, 5'5" and eat 1940 a day.

    Congratulation on the 50lbs!! That's amazing! You can do this...don't give up! Think how great it felt when that 50 was gone and look forward to how it will feel when the next 50 is too. :)
  • Your weight loss is awesome! Cheers to a healthier lifestyle! I am currently trying to do the same and have a long road ahead, but this is a great place to get encouragement! Keep it up!

    Hi everyone, thankful for your feedback. Really appreciate it and hope this marks the beginning of me losing the remaining weight. I've come so far and worked so hard. It would be a real shame to go back.
