    hummus hands down

on toast, either fruit jam (love fig currently) or spicy green tomato relish

for a sandwich, light olive oil mayonnaise and a tiny bit of Dijon mustard

Nutkao is good on toast or thin crepes with bananas, but I don't use it all that often. We do, however, always have it on hand!

Homemade orange marmelade and butter on homemade bread. Homemade pumpkin butter with less sugar on English muffin. Actually, I can eat pumpkin butter right out of the jar!
And finally, homemade basil pesto. My fave!

I am a Peanut Butter addict....I put it on rice cakes, graham crackers, ritz, saltines, apples, bananas, bread, a spoon, bagel, english muffins...

However there are other things I enjoy that do not include all that is peanut butter:

A good slice of local sourdough bread gets a little butter or if I am feeling adventuorus I go for a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic

Cream cheese on bagels, english muffins, tortillas, cucumbers, or celery

Tortillas with butter are a childhood favorite....warm them up slap on some butter and devour. delicious.

Butter almost always wins, unless I want sweet, then it's homemade jam or pumpkin butter.

PB and Nutella I just eat by the spoon. Why waste the calories on bread when the spoon's a more efficient way to get it to my gaping maw?
