Contraction belt

I'm not looking for a quick fix, but I am looking for some kind of device that helps keep my muscles contracted in my abs while I'm working out. I doubt something exists but maybe I'm not looking in the right spots. I'm just curious.

I had this bizarre belt a few years back that sent electric pulses through my belly muscles, contracting them. It required a slimy jelly rubbed on the skin and was very annoying and distracting. No idea if it would have done anything because I quit using it pretty quickly. Most unpleasant.0

Your abdominal muscles contract and relax as necessary already. Of course you could rip that power cord off the treadmill and put one wire on either side of your abs. That would keep them squeezing down tight.0

I had one of those belts when I was in high school. I hated it also. I'm not doing a treadmill so no wires to attach. Lol!0

I do. But I had a c-section and I want to tighten them more quickly and more consistently. I've been working them for around 3 months and the results are not as much as is like.0

Your ticker says you have 42lbs to go. Lose the body fat and you'll see the difference. Unfortunately, a contraction belt isn't going to help you in the way you want because you can't spot reduce.0 -
Hi I understand your issues but I don't think there is a device that would keep your core muscles contracted. It would be extremely uncomfortable if there was. You need patience and a solid exercise routine that targets your core muscles, lifting heavy is great for your core. And I am sure there are others on here who can you a lot more advice.0
