maps/GPS and updates MFP.

I'm not looking to get a fitbit or anything yet, but want the pedometer and map route tracking. And there seems to be quite a few choices.

So what have you using?

Thanks

I'm not using this app, but I use their running app, and I really like it.

    Runtastic

    They also have a pedometer app~ https://www.runtastic.com/en/apps/pedometer

If it's a step counter that you're after then nothing wrong with the Runtastic one, other than it's part of the Runtastic suite. Step Counters don't track GPS routing though.

If you're after GPS tracking then Runkeeper, Endomondo, Runtastic and MapMyFitness

Personally I prefer Runkeeper and Endomondo, lots of people swear by the other two. I've never had a good experience with MaMyFitness, consistent tracking and synch errors, and I find Runtastic a bit too aggressive on the upsell. In both cases their web pages are very busy and cluttered ith adds and upsells.

Runkeeper and Endonomdo are both much more discreet about the upsell, and the web pages are much less cluttered.

Try all of them, see which one you prefer.

I use a combination of Runkeeper and Fitbit. Runkeeper is nice that it has the map feature so I can actually "see" my route back to where I parked.
