Hi! I'm 23, and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes(formerly/more commonly known as juvenile diabetes) 1 year ago this June and I have been told losing weight will help me keep my T1D under better control.
I came to myfitnesspal to find support in losing 50lbs in approximately a year.
Would love to reach out to more T1D for support and help.
Thanks!
Stephanie

Dx'd T1 at 60, and I am on the same journey. Working in exercise with insulin on board can be a challenge. Feel free to add me.
Currently pumping with T slim and using a Dexcom G4. The pump has been a convenience, but the CGM has been a game changer!!!0 -
