First day went well (Check Diary)

I had limited "hungry" moments today, and only ate about 980 calories...I didnt have much to choose from. I did go shopping though (thanks for the grocery list help!!) My only true complaint was the God awful gas!! (Fiber much???)

Please take a look at my food diary today and let me know if there is anything I should change. I also have my meals planned for tomorrow...If you look at the diary for Sunday the 2nd, you'll see how I have spent my eating days for the past 20 years. Maybe that will help you see how good I am really doing! :)

    You really need to hit 1200 calories consistently or your body will move into "starvation mode". Trust me on this one. I was eating under 1000 calories and exercising and not losing an ounce due to this! I thought "the fewer calories the better". It doesn't work that way. You can really mess up your metabolism by eating too few calories.
  • I know I need to meet 1200. Today was tough though as I came in a little unprepared. I barely had any food available that wouldnt have wrecked the diet completely. I did go shopping tonight and have all kinds of options for the next week atleast :)
