Eat a full can of sauerkraut and 4 cups of broccoli each day.0

Healthy, balanced diet, with plenty of fiber, healthy fats and water to keep things moving.0

Water, fiber and working out?0

Fiber. And lots of it. Granola and fruit keep me very, ahem, regular.0

Fiber and fat are important for regularity0

FIBER! At least 25g per day will get the bowels moving (medical conditions withstanding).
It's like drain-o for the human body.
Do not drink drain-o0 -

Healthy levels of fibre intake. being mindful of both soluble and insoluble fibre (both are important).
Try adding psyllium husks to boost soluble fibre if your intake is low.0 -

Here's a tried and true method:
1) Find a waist-high object that's firmly planted on the ground. A bed post sometimes works. With great force, jam your abdomen, right below your belly button, into the object about 10 or 15 times. If it hurts, it means it's working. This will break up the hard stool in your colon.
2) Next, drink 2-3 pots of coffee. Do this while running on a treadmill or another similar cardio exercise. Coffee is a known laxative, as is exercise.
3) Next, if you live by the woods, walk out into the woods and find a tree of considerable height. Taller trees are older and have tougher bark. Without using your hands, bite off a big chunk of bark. Chew the bark until it is of a mealy consistency and then swallow. Repeat 4 more times.
If you don't live by any wooded area, find a little used portion of deck or window sill and perform the same step listed above. Don't worry about dirt. Dirt contains bacteria, which we all know is good for your digestion.
4) Finally, using a small, clean (preferably new) bottle cleaner, lube the brush with vaseline. Insert it into your rectal cavity and twist the handle. This will further loosen the stool and should provide immediate relief.
