I am currently using zombie run to help increase my running endurance, i absolutely love it and am really enjoying the app. Whilst completing my mission this morning, i realised that my playlist really doesn't fit with the storyline. I've been trying to think of some awesome end of world songs that would also be good to run to - anyone got any ideas
So far i have
imagine dragons - radioactive
thriller - michael jackson
its the end of the world as we know it - REM
bring me to life - evanescence
one way or another - blondie

I have to same songs as you. Also, Ready Steady Go by Paul Oakenfold, Disturbia by Rhianna, and Extreme Ways by Moby. I agree it's tough finding workout songs that fit the mood of the storyline. But I love this app so far!0

You know, it never occurred to me to have 'end of world songs' in my zombies run playlist. NOW I have to create one for the zombie mood! LOL!
I just enjoy the story and listen to the music BEAT (not the words) to get my feet moving. I'm not sure I could even tell you what's on my play list.
Suggestion, though: Metallica, Seek and Destroy
Zombie Apocalypse - Dead in the queue0 -

Heck yeah, gotta have a Zombies, Run! playlist!
Mine is -
Radioactive - Imagine Dragons (of course)
Ahead Of My Time - Teddybears
Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo
An Awful Lot of Running - Chameleon Circuit
Dirty Second Hands - Switchfoot
Rock The Casbah - The Clash
Life During Wartime - Talking Heads
The Distance - Relient K (Originally Performed by Cake)
Zombie (McSwagger Remix) - Family Force 5
Mindfields - The Prodigy (Matrix Soundtrack)
Not all of them apocalyptic, but all seem to fit into the zombie vibe when I'm out there running (or sprinting! Dang zoms are fast!).0 -
I started The Zombies, Run! 5K program the other day and by chance (I didn't set up a playlist or anything just set my music on to shuffle) at one point after the voice over says 'they're right behind you, move as fast as you can!' Metric's 'Help, I'm alive' came on with the opening lyrics 'If I stumble, They're gonna eat me alive!'. It was perfect, really added to the experience. I'm definitely going to have to set up a good playlist. Thanks for all the ideas!0
