Weight gain after birth control

hello ladies!

As any ladies have had any hormone imbalance issues after stopping the birth control pill which resulted in weight gain?

I gained 10 pounds in two months. I only weighted myself because clothes starting to not fit.
I got really depressed and moody. way more than anything else I have had before. So I started to take DIM plus balancer for estrogen metabolism and also raises progesterone. Been taking it two weeks now, I do have to say, my mood has improved. I am seeing my doctor next week to really talk about the hormone factor. I don't know if you can even test a thing like that! Will get my TSH And T4 tested for sure.

    I took birth control for about two months, I work out 20 hours a week and I gained six pounds from birth control. It shut down my metabolism entirely, like it damaged it. I too can't get it off after two months. You're not alone :)
    My opinion would be too not take any hormonal pills and just eat an all natural, unprocessed diet for a bit until your system gets back on track.

    most women don't take BC b/c of the weight gain . I gained when I stopped it. crazy. but it makes sense our bodies does odd things to re balance.

    I've been on birth control for almost a year now, and I have NOT gained any weight. The only time I have gained weight is if I don't care about what I eat, but I haven't from birth control.

    i hope you don't either!

    I didn't gain any weight on it .. but i was on it for 10 years. i actually lost weight easier. but now .. it's packing on faster.
