The Start of Success (pics)

I am not a final "success story", but I was thrilled when I looked back through pics to see the progress that I have made so far. I started Taekwondo at the beginning of Feb. of this year. On March 23rd, I started stage 1 of The New Rules of Lifting for Women (I completed stage 1, and I'm now doing StrongLifts, week 1), I bike when I can, and I walk 20-60 minutes most days. I've been tracking on MFP for 27 days.
In this picture, I remember how hard it was for me to sit straight with my back against the back of the chair. Yeah, I know, it is a terrible pic. I was around 256 pounds. This pic was taken June 2013
This pic was taken in Jan. 2014 and I was around 250 pounds.
This pic was taken on May 3, 2014. I think the changes are starting to show. I am 231 pounds in this pic.
I had to post this picture to show everyone (including myself) that I still have a LONG way to go. The side and rear views are always killers for me, but it helps keep things in perspective. I'm still 231 in this pic.

Thanks everyone! You make me feel great about the little progress that I have made so far. I should mention that even though my ticker says that I lost 17 pounds, I have really lost 25 pounds. I only started tracking on MFP when I was ~247 pounds or so. Even with the 25 pounds lost, I know that I gained a lot of muscle with my lifting.0
