I've tried all kinds of diets with no luck. I can't stick to them. I did find something that worked for me and I lost 20 lbs and so far, kept it off. I kept eating everything I've always eaten but I just downsized the portions. If I wanted something I ate it but I just ate a little of it. I did walk too. I slacked off during the winter and didn't walk but I did stick to my portion control. I didn't lose any weight but I didn't gain any back either. I've recently started my walking again and hopefully I'll start dropping pounds again. Wish me luck!

you are correct..."diets" fad or otherwise are not for long term success.

It's all about Calories in vs Calories out (CICO) and yes but downsizing portions you are cutting calories add in the exercise you are in a deficet...

No exercise you are at maintenance...

If you like your exercise that's great.

    Good luck...

I like my walking plus this time of year I'm ALWAYS working in the yard. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I love mowing. I use a push mower so it's great exercise for my arms and legs.

It's hard to get started but once I do I don't want to quit. Music helps a lot.
