I just bought some lemon vinegar and some sherry vinegar. Does anyone have any good vinaigrette recipes to share? I love having salads in the summer since they are so easy and fresh and I am looking for different ways to dress them :)

    this requires olive oil, basil, and tomato paste.

    Mix tomato paste, and some of the vinegar in a bowl, to loosen that tomato paste. Add in a good handful or two of chiffonade of basil.

    Whisk in the olive oil, doing all things to taste. Now, when it tastes great, add in a little grated garlic (like 1/3 a clove), some ground black pepper, and throw it in the fridge overnight.

    It's quite excellent.

    Mine is simple: add vinegar to a bit of minced garlic and let it sit for a while, then stream in olive oil and add a bit of salt and pepper. The lemon vinegar would be SO good in this.

    I have a bottle of fig balsamic that's so delicious. I just mixed it with some olive oil, then coated some cubed chicken breast with it and cooked it in my grill pan. I would love to try the lemon vinegar with this too!
