Can you see a difference?

Options
Hello everyone! It's been a month into my fitness journey (well a month into it this time, but I vow to stick with it!) I've been staying within my calories except for a few days, eating healthy "real" food and doing 30 Day Shred mostly every second day and going for hour-hour and a half walks almost every day. I took some before pictures a month ago and took some again today but I don't notice any difference :ohwell: How long into your journey did you start noticing changes? Thanks :flowerforyou:

I fixed the photos - but don't know why they are so tiny. But yes, I can see a difference.

to be perfectly honest I can't tell because the picture is too small so I can't see them, but with that aside. I think, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, you should concentrate more on your exercise plan and eating habits. it takes awhile for you to be able to notice a weight loss. I'm sure you are serious about your plan for weight loss so you don't need me to tell you this. the weight and inches will come off if you work hard at it and you won't need to ask if you can see a difference, you will see it in the mirror. so continue on, you are doing a great job. your results will com soon enough. good luck.

I've been at it for 2 months now. I've lost 9 lbs. I don't see any visual changes. But I see changes in how my clothes fit much better!

Thank you! I've only lost about 10 lbs too and I've been plateauing for a couple weeks but have lost 10.5 inches in those weeks. I guess I'm just impatient haha

If your clothes are fitting better, why would you care what the scale says?

I, too watch the scale, but my jeans are the real test. If they are uncomfortable, I don't need the scale to tell me to lay off the junk food or booze and up my exercise.

Other people noticed my loss as far as seeing it before I did.. I however noticed it with my clothes. I started wearing smaller clothes and that's where I really started to notice my loss. It's amazing how clothes can show you just how much you are losing just by how big they are getting lol.. It's a great feeling and a motivator to go on !!! I've gone from a TIGHT 42 waist to a nice comfortable 36 So Far and I am far from done! Hang in there and do this, you'll be glad you did !!!

The pics are to small to tell. Just hang in there. I didn't do pics and wished I had but now I'm glad I didn't. I can tell I've lost weight many other ways like how my clothes not just fit but how they look. There's a big difference between jeans that "fit" but you keep them covered with a long shirt and can't breath!! And the same jeans that "fit" and your not self conscience in them. I just realized a while ago that my feet and hips don't hurt anymore. I'm sleeping better. Etc,etc. I first lost some " bloat" then the weight started coming off leaving a little extra skin. Now with diet and exercise I'm losing weight and toning. I don't always " see it" but every now and then something will catch my attention like when I sit on the couch my stomach doesn't stick out farther than my boobs ! You'll get there! Just enjoy the little "ah ha" moments. Good luck.
