I'm just about to do an Insanity class (classes are based on the DVDs now). However I broke my wrist before Christmas. I have worked hard on getting the strength and flexibility back but how much of insanity involves putting weight on your wrists I.e push ups ects. I am wondering if it's worth investing in the DVD s.

There are press ups in every workout. Have you tried press ups yet?

I wouldn't suggest insanity due to your injury. Wait until it's completely healed, otherwise insanity will destroy it.

Like, all of it. There's one dvd that I referred to as Pushup Hell. The entire dvd set is based around jumping and push-ups or some sort of high plank activity.

Getting push up stands with help with your wrists but I recommend avoiding it till you're back to full health

In theory my wrist is fixed as I had plates and pins put in. I have managed box press ups and yoga down facing dog. But not full push ups. I'm guessing i need to be able to manage full press ups before embarking on insanity? I'm guessing it's not the type of exercise class that allows for modification??!!
