Hoping to get to a healthy weight

Hey everyone,

I'm new to MFP and am in recovery from anorexia. I haven't been doing the greatest with my meal plan lately and I have fallen into a very unhealthy weight. I definitely need support in getting back up to my healthy weight and need accountability. Today I am only missing a couple things from my plan but I was sick all last night and this morning so I know I need to have a little more than my plan, it's just difficult. Thoughts on how to get back on track?

If you are struggling to get in calories or need a little more calories in today than usual, then I suggest eating high calorie foods. These do not need to be unhealthy foods, like a donut or a triple bacon cheeseburger or anything. Or, you could add in a sweet today if you want to!

One thing I heard of doing is adding nutella or any chocolate spread in vanilla or plain yogurt. Just a tablespoon or two. And that adds 100-200 calories to your yogurt and can help you increase calories. A peanut butter sandwich with 2-3 tablespoons of peanut butter could also be a good lunch today.

Avocados are nutrient dense, yet have a high calorie amount, and you can add a little bit of that to a sandwich.

Eating nuts ( I like almonds ) in between meals can add a little extra calories.

Good luck, Hope I helped a little bit!

You need to speak to your doctor about why you haven't been doing well with your meal plan.

I think what she is saying is if you are at risk of relapse, and it sounds like you are/have you should speak to your doctor to get the right support to put you back on track :flowerforyou:

Sorry I had a brain fart. I see a therapist and dietitian every week and we are working on it. I just don't want to end up in higher care again because I want to live my life.
