Hi Im Michelle!

Hi I am Michelle. Iv joined this site a long while ago.
Im 17 years old and I weigh on average about 199lbs. (Which is extremely upsetting) I honestly dont look like I weigh that much, I feel like I look likw I weigh 175, but my scale doesnt lie :P

Iv been battleing with weight issues all my life. When I was 15, I was 160lbs, but I rapidly went to around 125lbs within a few months due to illness. I recovered in my late 16's and gained weight super fast. I didnt realise I was gaining the weight up untill my pants didnt fit anymore, and Well I decided to work out.
But then I got a job at wendys, and that discount on fast food didnt help me. So I gained even more weight. I quit that job for the sake of my health, and im starting my new job at dairy queen (I hate icecream so it works out for me) I find it hard to lose weight and Im currently 198 lbs.

My first goal is 180.
My second goal is 160.
My third goal is 145.
My final goal is to maintain that body weight when I get there.

I would appriciate tips and tricks! I want to lose weight, be healthy and enjoy my body.

i think your idea of mini goals is good.

maybe you could reward yourself at each goal?

maybe each time you reach one goal you give yourself permission to spend 10% of your paycheck on something nice for yourself?
  • Hey welcome and good luck!
  • I was thinking every time I get to one of my goals, Ill treat myself to some makeup, or a pair of nice fitting pants. But yes A reward every time will hopefully push myself to my goal.
  • That works! For me, I was just fed up with how I looked, how things fit, how things hanged.
  • I want to look good, get into shape, and be more active.
My boyfriend is extreamly active and hes always trying to get me to go to the park and play football and other sports.
I mean he is gorgeous and fit, I feel like it would be a nice treat for him to also have a fit girlfriend who doesnt die from exhaustion everytime she plays a sport with him :P

And if thats you in the photo, your gorgeous also!

Just going to throw this out there: http://www.sparkteens.com/.

It's a site like MFP for teenagers. You'll likely find better advice/support there for someone who may not be done developing. MFP is for adults 18+... That being said, I wish you luck.
  • Im fairly certain im finished developing. Iv stopped a long while ago.
That being said Im 19, It was just a miss press of buttons.
