I just got one & I am confused on a few things.

Does it automatically post your work outs / how many calories you burned to MFP?

    If you link the two accounts your burned calories will automatically transfer to mfp, any non step based exercise you log in MFP will automatically show up in fitbit.

    If I log it on to MFP, does that mean it shows up twice on Fitbit?

    I just got one myself. Do you have to link the apps or can you link them online?

    You can link them online, not sure about the apps
    the exercise (non step based) logged into either , will only get counted once.
    don't log walking, aerobics ect, log biking swimming ect.
    don't enter in both places.

    example
    i log food in mfp
    i log weight lifting in mfp
    everything else gets tracked by fit bit
    fit bit makes a calorie adjustment to my mfp number and voilà

    I don't have one, but anytime I need to get info on something I google it. You might have to do some weeding out of not needed info, but just ask Google!
