Hi! Im Keila and Im 19.
I dont know much about health, excercise, and lifting but I'd like yo know so if I could have some friends to guide me along the way id love you forever
Im a competitive cheerleader (the ones that flip), a spirit cheerleader (pom poms), and a dancer (ballet tap and jazz) I also do pageants and Im studying to be in the medical field.
I used to suffer from an eating disorder that started when I was 11. I was abused and I coped using food. I binged, purged, and starved all the time. I remained the same weight because id eat like a normal person one day, starve the next, and then binge after that. It was a hot mess. Im looking to lose weight the right way and gain some confidence in myself. I have a few pageants coming up and I need to get into shape.
Im also looking into becoming vegan. If I could have some guidance on that itd be much appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know a ton about the vegan lifestyle, though I avoid lactose and have a few good friends who are vegan, but I do know that it's important to make sure you sustain yourself and get the proper nutrients if you're avoiding certain mainstream options.
I know there are low-budget vegan options, but make sure it is a change that you can financially sustain. Additionally, you might want to speak to a doctor about it at some point. I was vegetarian for a year and ended up returning to eating meat because my doctor sent me for tests and my iron was ridiculously low.
If you're into it for moral reasons, I recommend slowly trying it out with vegetarianism and then shifting once you have that down. If you're into it for diet reasons, I really have no background/advice in that.0
