smaller size=good and bad :(

hubby took me today to get some new correct sized and much needed bras today. first the good. i am down from a tight 44 (probably really a 46???? who knows what cup size) to a nice 38. well my cup size is a J. translated to a 38DDDDDDD. so depressed and horrified to have these hideous fat monsters. just yesterday a man made a fool of himself oogling over them.as he put it "the largest breasts ever!" a gay man at that. i have lost about 50lbs. the breasts have shrunk but i HATE HATE HATE my chest monsters. this was supposed to be a fun shopping trip but now i am just disgusted and want them lopped off. and i hate when small breasted women say they would be glad to take mine. umm... no you dont want this hassle. the rashes, sweating, rubbing, slapping, discomfort, impossible bra shopping. i can go on forever. i would be happy with a C. i believe i will be getting that breast reduction when i hit my goal weight. i have had enough sigh....

Don't worry, with 62 more pounds to lose, it is very likely you will lose several cups sizes along the way. You may still want a breast reduction when you hit goal weight, but that's something to worry about when you get there.

I would happily take 2 cup sizes from you if I could--my weight loss has made me as flat as I was when I was 12! :grumble:

You will probably lose more in your breast area as you lose more weight, and then you can definitely get a breast reduction if you want. I wear a DD/D and even I hate having large boobs sometimes. I am hoping when I lose more weight ill be back to a C

You need to go to a corset shop and be properly fitted for a bra. They are expensive $75.00 each but worth every penny. I can't tell you what a difference it has made in my life. No more indentations in my shoulders, sore neck or back. My cloths fit better and I feel sexier. Please try this before surgery.

did this today, this is how i know my size now. i have sensory issues so a corset would annoy me. the less fabric the better,

i hate when small breasted women tell me this! my peeve for sure :( sorry. i am grumpy about my fat mamms.
  • Everyone I know IRL who has had a breast reduction has been happy with the results (though it wasn't a miracle cure for back pain). You will likely lose a lot more up top as you continue to lose weight, so maybe it won't even come to that!

I like loped off! and laughed because I feel your pain, and frustration. I have hoped since the day these jokers gained momentum and decided to impeded, my shirt wearing, volleyball playing, basketball running that they would fall off.

I wish the best of luck in reaching your foal so you can have complete comfort in your in body.

Chances are you'll still lose quite a bit in your chest! :flowerforyou:
I lost about 35 kg (77 lbs) and my bra size has gone from - UK size - 34J (always had a small ribcage, even when I was obese) to 32FF/30G, i.e. I've lost six cup sizes.

I have had an aunt and two cousins have breast reduction surgery. They were all thrilled with the results. My cousin Kim was the first to have it done and had similar complaints as you and her bra straps would actually cause sores on her shoulders. You could still lose in your chest but if you don't I would say do what you need to do to feel comfortable in your own body.

Don't panic yet, I went from a H cup to a FF cup with the last 10lb of weight loss. I see from your ticker that you still have some weight to lose yet so there is still time.

If you want a reduction then the results will probably be neater/more proportioned to your new frame when you are there. If it's what you need to feel good about yourself then I'm all for it, but it's worth not rushing into and seeing how you feel with the coming weight loss.

I don't have large girls at all...But I will say, I didn't lose them until just recently in the weightloss game, close to goal. So give it time, and they will go down. :)

Don't give up. You'll probably lose some of it. I went from a 38 DDD to a 34 C (ok... depends on the brand a lot).

If I were you I would wait and see where you're at as you reach your goal and then consider the breast reduction surgery. It honestly sounds like you are the ideal candidate for that due to your emotional state regarding your chest, even more so than the physical aspects.

I do not wanna be a Debbie Downer...but I would not count on losing tons of cup sizes, necessarily. Everyone is different, but my personal experience is being a 42DDD at 307 lb and now a 38DD at 184 lb. Meanwhile, I have a friend who was a 40F at what I'd estimate to have been about 220 lb and she's now 36B at 168 lb. So you never know for sure.
