Hello!
i started a high fiber and protein diet (for me anyway) and am having good results. question....I had eggs, bacon, coffee and a piece of light whole wheat bread for breakfast, a pack of emerald nut mix for a snack and now lunch is rolling around and I am not even remotely interested in eating....should i push on and eat anyway? I know that if I don't eat around 12ish that by supper I am ravenous and crazy hungry. this way of eating goes against everything I grew up hearing , but it works!
thanks. BTW, I brought 1/2 cup steel oats with cinnamon and pecans if I do eat.)

Eat up, just get your calories in. You may find that after the first bite, you are hungrier than you thought...

You have to be careful about following rumors. If you are concerned about blowing your deficiency then maybe a piece of fruit will tie you over until dinner. Otherwise, as long as you stick to your calorie deficiency and not have indigestion problems then you could eat more food later in the day if you don't eat lunch.

    Bring on the ice cream!
Don't stress about WHEN you eat honestly, If you aren't hungry just have a snack and have a bigger dinner, or a treat, or a snack later or save up some calories for a special meal ;)

I'm of the "listen to your body" camp. If you're not hungry, don't eat.
