dealing with DOMS

Hey everyone,
When you have DOMS so bad you can hardly walk do you just take some Tylenol and keep on your routine? I am not about to quit but I can't hardly walk across the room....and it was a chore to walk over to the gym. Is it reasonable to take some pain killers and keep trucking?

I use amino acids. Though its one of those things where some people will swear by it and others will say its a waste of money. However its possible to get e.g. glutamine or arginine relatively cheaply0

If I am that sore I take another day off.
So I work out either my upper or lower body on separate days. So for example, if i work my upper body on mon I take a day off on tues, then do my lower body on wed, so at this point I have already had two days to recover.
If i am still really sore after a couple of days, i won't exercise my upper for another day.
But my goals are to develop my muscles, and that soreness tells me my body is working on developing my muscles.
I have done much better this way, and not too fatigued if i work through the very sore bits.0 -
thank you so much everyone.
I will probably exercise tomorrow but at a fat burning level and longer period of time to still get my calories burned. It's pretty rough right now.0
