losing stomach fat

i have been using MFP for a month now and i have lost 12 pounds so far. i walk a lot and throw in jogging here and there, either by myself or with my dog, usually about 4 to 6 miles a day. i notice my face thinning and my legs and waist as well, but my stomach not so much. is stomach fat just slower to burn? I'm not concerned with abs or anything, just less stomach lol. if someone can help me out i would appreciate it very much

Keep on keeping on - fat comes off all over, some areas quicker than others. Sadly, we can't spot reduce, but it sounds like you're on the right track with the progress you're seeing so far.0

I do think for some people that's the case. You can't always help where you'll lose the most fat or how long it will take for an all around effect...while you can't always target specifically, it can help to make sure you're getting in enough full body exercise, just so you're not neglecting any particular area altogether.0
