Foot in a plaster cast - what can I do?

Options
I slipped on loose stones while running at the weekend, and have cracked my ankle bone. Which is now in a plaster cast, and I'm using crutches to get around!

What exercises can I do over the next few weeks?

Hmmm, bear in mind it's difficult to balance, and also to shower, so anything seriously cardio isn't an option.

from experience i will tell you to take this time to heal and not to worry about exercise but if you must try bands for lower body work outs you can do on the bed and do upper body stuff with weights sitting in a chair. allow your ankle bone to heal.

Do you have access to a hand cycle machine. Where you sit and peddle with your hands? That is one option. You could do upper limb exercises in sitting. Such as shoulder press, lat pull downs.
I would concentrate on getting better, keep an eye on what you're eating and rest the next few weeks.
You don't want to traction your leg from above the cast.
