I have only been on this site for a few days, i'm having trouble eating the right amount of kjs, i'm supposed to eat over 7000 and am having trouble getting over 2000!!! i work on my feet but haven't been working out the last few days (i have my own gym but i cant use it when its raining coz it floods, it barely ever rains though)
i guess my questions are...
1. what is a safe amount to eat?? i do not want to make myself sick but i don't want to force feed myself either...
2. can u actually loose weight if u stick to what mfp tells you to eat? kj wise? it seems like A LOT
3. what kind of training do you guys do? what works the best in your opinion? I currently am doing 'circuit training' type work outs with light weights combined with cardio and floor exercises (crunches and stuff)
4. annnnd what keeps you motivated? i dont want to fall off the wagon again (i lost 50kg 2 year ago and ive put 30kg back on!!!)

buy a food scale
calculate tdee: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm
eat 500 cals less each day to lose 1 lb per week, 1000 to lose 2 etc
you don't need to starve yourself
lift weights 2-3x per week , cardio is optional
ensure you get 1 gram protein per lb bodyweight
ensure you get 0.45 grams fat per lb bodyweight
1 gram protein = 4 cal, 1 gram carbs = 4 cal, 1 gram fat = 9 cal
fill remaining calories with carbs
meal timing doesn't matter eat whenever you want
that's it0 -
2000 KJoules are 470 Calories
No matter what your current weight is, You are really starving.0
