Hi - 35 yr old female looking for a mentor

Hi All,
It's been a while since I've been on MFP. I just turned 35 last week. I am 5'3" tall and currently weigh 139 lbs. My ultimate goal is to get to 130, but overall to feel good about how I look. I have a desk job and there is constantly bad food around me. I have a major sweet tooth, but I do not like chocolate. I like all the gummy candies, cakes, pies, etc. Since I stopped doing MFP, I've noticed my energy level is way down!!
I'm looking for someone who wants to help motivate each other. I need the extra support because I do not have it at home or work.
I plan to eat 1400 calories per day. I also love doing Hip Hop Zumba. In the past, I did Hip Hop Zumba 3 days per week. I'm also getting a new puppy later this week, so I plan do lots of walking with the new puppy.

I'm 49 and was an overweight emotional eater as a teen. I got weight under control in my 20's and have maintained a BMI<20 most of my adult life (not counting pregnancy/lactation when my body seemed possessed by aliens). As I've gotten older, maintaining my weight has gotten physically harder but mentally easier as I (and my relationship with food) have matured. I can eat less and genuinely enjoy it more. My next frontier is to do the same with alcohol--drink less and enjoy it more.
My normal pattern is to pack on a few pounds in the Texas heat (less running, more margaritas) and then work it off in the fall. I didn't work hard enough at it this winter, candidly, and I would really like to work it off before facing another Texas summer. I've got 5 to lose.0 -

That's awesome you are so close to your goal!! I'm also an emotional eater. I think that's why I gained 4 lbs within the past month because I was super stressed. But my brother is coming to visit in July. I haven't seen him in 2 years. I'd like to lose 5 lbs before I see him.
