There are dimples in the middle of the bottom of each cheek.

Noticed that, too. My advice to the OP is to track calories and eat at a deficit. I suspect that the dimples are the result of a bit of extra fat, and the best way to deal with that is a deficit. Keep squatting, and as someone else mentioned, do weighted squats. You might want to add in some other compound lifts, too, as it can help maintain muscle all over and give a nice "toned" look.

It looks to me like she's flexing her rear. I get the same thing if I flex my buns and it makes the rest of my butt look flat. I guess that could be a relaxed rear end but it doesn't look like it.

    always so tactful.

LOL. Better than mocking her for creating a fake profile to address a perceived problem.

Good point-- I hope it WAS the dimples because otherwise poor OP will be worried about them now.

Yep, this is exactly what I was thinking.

There is NOTHING wrong with that booty. Accepting your body can be a struggle no matter what its size or shape. That's why I posted the link to a similar thread where a girl was unhappy with squats because they made her booty too big.

ETA: Not saying you can't want to improve areas, but the whole idea THAT was a ruined bottom is, well.... just no.

My thoughts exactly. I'm shocked people are treating this as if it's a real thread. I guess I could be wrong....

But if there were pictures up at some point and someone commented truthfully on what they saw in the pictures, why is that person getting called out for saying what they saw? This thread is weird, I'm staying out.

Because that person lacks discretion and tact. Hopefully they've gotten their answer.
  • Yes, That's correct.
  • Hahahah. Lets' not have that competition ;-). Good luck with your training/diet :-)
  • Thanks! I think not eating enough protein might be the issue here... I'm a vegetarian and I guess I need to revise my diet
  • Yes, it's the dimples I'm referring to. And thanks for the advice!
  • Well spotted!

That's a very valid point, I hadn't thought of that. I was hoping to address what the OP was worried about (though I don't know that I'd stress it, personally). I've never been to the point where I had dimples like that in my bum, so I just didn't think that it could be flexed. I just get a bunch of cellulite when I flex my buns (and I'm jelly of the cellulite-free toosh in the pictures )

Are you just doing basic squats? What about ski squats, sumo/plie squats, goblet squats? Are you at least doing deadlifts?

I tried flexing my butt last night in the mirror and get what you do. Way less attractive than the OP :)
