HELP!! Calorie problem!

I have eaten a very limited amount today in an attempt to save calories for dinner. I found out that my family and I are going to a diner type restaraunt, and I am either going to get a Belgium waffle, or Pancakes(I think it comes with 2 or 3 pancakes), plus I will be putting syrup on them. I have 816 calories left. Will this meal be possible to eat without going over my goal? The website states that no nutritional information is available! How do I estimate? Which meal item should I get. Thanks!

1. You'll be fine. Even if you're over one day it won't hurt.
2. Go to iHop or Dennys or somewhere similar that has breakfast foods and look up the calories - they'll at least be close.
3. I like pancakes - YUMMY!!
4. For Mother's Day I had 3 pancakes w/butter and syrup, ham and 2 eggs for 710 calories. (Original Pancake House - they're in the database or have nutrition info online)0 -

All this.
Plus - remember rule #1 of eating out... YOU DON'T HAVE TO CLEAN YOUR PLATE
If you find the meal you plan on ordering is more calories than you wish to consume, just stop 1/2 way...3/4 way etc.0 -

Do they offer a fruit bowl or a protein? Those are often filling and can help round out your meal.
OJ vs Coffee depends on if you've had your Vitamin C for the day.0 -

I am just worried because I don't know exactly how many calories are in the dishes. I feel like maybe the Belgium waffle may be a better Idea because most are the same size, and I can add one(on MFP)similar to the one I will be served. However, I'd rather eat pancakes(I love them). I just don't know how many are in each one? Even if I eat only 1 or two pancakes out of 3 per say, how do I know I haven't gone over? I'm so scared!!0 -

If you want to be safe, overestimate 20%, and you're covered.
If this were a daily event that would be another thing. Don't worry so much about one-off events.0 -
You can ask if they have sugar free syrup.
Pancakes in general do not have a huge amount of calories, though of course it depends on how many and how big. I go to IHOP periodically and get breakfast under 600 calories which includes a couple pancakes, egg whites, turkey bacon and perhaps fruit.
Don't worry about the details, just eat a reasonable portion. Even if its regular syrup - I never use a lot anyhow.0
