sorry if I'm being thick question about net cals

I've read all the links explaining it but to simplyfy if my cal goal per day is 1200 and I do loads of exercise do I have to eat enough by the end of the day to put my net back to 1200?? Sorry if this has been explained before x

    Yes, that's exactly right. Just be sure that you're not overestimating your exercise calories.

    To answer your question specifically. Yes you do. Your body needs a base amount of vitamins and nutrients and is widely accepted that getting these essential things is very difficult to do if you don't net aprox. 1200 daily.

    Of course there is much more to it but this is the answer to your question generally speaking.

    Yes, your NET should always be at least 1200 calories.

    remember what was suggested above. Don't overestimate your calorie burns and then eat back to much. I believe a good rule is to eat back half your exercise calories. Unless your really acurete with your calorie burns such as with a heart rate monitor.
