Does anyone know how I can set my calorie count. I don't want to use what MFP is suggesting. I just want to set it a 1400. Any suggestions ?

Why don't you want to set it at what MFP suggests?

Why it's a good tool and where did you get 1400 from?

I kind of set my own... Thru using other sites and trial and error I know that 1400-1600 is a good zone for me. Not the 1200-1500 that some sites will set for women. So I adjust my goal (different loss rates) and settled on 1 pound per week, which put me at 1450 on MFP. And I move more as needed to make sure to be at the deficit I want.

Why not do it by finding out what your TDEE is then minus between 10-20% depending on your weight loss goals?
