I cheated

I had to go 12 hrs with nothing to eat or drink so this afternoon after I was discharged from the hospital after my surgery I decided I wanted comfort food and had a McDonalds McDouble for lunch. I do feel slightly guilty since I can't exercise for a day or two, but also glad I didn't have to come home and make something.

Cheating is okay. Not everyone has to be perfect everyday. Don't beat yourself up!0

It's my b-day and I just ate almost all my daily calories just for lunch...(I had KFC) Don't let it get u down or stop u from ur goal. We all have bad days for whatever reason and its just like the saying says if u fall off the horse just get right back on again!!0

I just had beef n broccoli, fried rice & an egg roll for lunch. Cheating once in a while is ok. But I did do good for breakfast- Weight Control oatmeal and for dinner it will be Special K. I will definitely be going to the gym though.0

You have probably heard this 100 times... Loosing weight is a lifestyle change so you have to be able to maintain it for the rest of your life. So, thinking that you are going to go 20, 30 40, etc years without eating or cookie or stopping at McDonalds is just silliness. So, don't beat yourself up about it - make adjustments to account for it - and "get back on the horse". : )0

Hey, I would have done that too! Being in a hospital sucks and not eating for 12 hours stinks even more! It's ok to cheat every now and then!0

It's okay it happens... just go on with your regular routine.0

Get the body back to normal before you worry about it! It is over and done, move on. Don't beat yourself up. After a 12 hour fast anyone would eat the first thing put in front of them. Get better soon!0

Thank you all!!! You all made me feel better for eating the burger. I did do better with my food the rest of the day since I can't exercise any of it off right now.0
