I've noticed that while I'm reducing my calories my protien intake isn't as high as it should be. Due to my intense workouts I know I need this protien to burn fat and not muscle. However I'm worried aobut my caloric intake. Do any of you have any low cal high protien powders/drinks/bars that you could recomend?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I like Gold Standard that you can get at GNC. Only 120 calories per scoop and 24G of protein. Also only 1g of sugar per scoop.0

I use Dymatize ISO-100 and i really like it. 106 cal, 0 carb, 0 fat, 0 lactose, 24g protein

You can try to find a protein powder that actually tastes good to you.... so you can just mix it with water instead of milk; that will save a few calories. I like Scivation Chocolate Whey or any flavor from Isopure.
I can't view your diary, but chances are, you could probably cut a lot of calories from the carb sources you are eating.0 -

Good point, I always mix my protein shakes with water. Milk just has too many unnecessary calories and sugar.0

I also say go with the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey. Be careful with other protein supplements, many of them have levels of arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury that are worrisome. Consumer Reports did some testing on them:

The best low cal/high protein is going to be lean meats - fish, chicken. etc.
I know that isn't super convenient, so I usually go for Special K protein bars. 10 g protein to 180 calories.0 -
I don't use protein bars, etc because of high sugar content. I try to eat lean meats (like chicken breast) and reduced fat/sodium cheeses. Also, beans and legumes contain a lot of protein. I also do Kashi Go Lean for breakfast with soy milk.0

I changed my diary to public so it can be viewed.0
