Hi everybody. First I would like to say that although i am not overweight and on a healthy weight I can not get rid of my last 5 pounds, really.
I know what you would say, just cut more calories:
When i was losing, i was eating 1700 a day, i lost 8 pounds, good. (weekends about 2000-2300)
Then i decided to maintain so I ate at 1900cal a day(weekends 2000-2500)
At this point i decided to lose body fat, i already do 4 days of strength training at the gym plus a zumba class a week. I also walk to work 30 mins everyday. So i cut back to 1700…nothing!Cut a bit more to 1500….nothing!
Now i am eating between 1300-1500 calls a day over the week and 2000 over weekend, which averages 1500 a day, 500 calls under my TDEE 2100. Well, over a month like this and what…nothing! My body maintains at 1900 or 1400….REALLY?
Can anybody explain?

you dont need a 500 calorie deficit with 5lb to lose. in fact i would ditch the scales all together and work on a bit of recomp to lose a little bodyfat either at maintenance or TDEE -10%
also, 10st is 140lbs.0 -
Have you been tracking your body fat % and measurements? Since you're pretty fit and so close to your ideal weight, you may not need to lose more weight. Watch your body fat %? It's probably still reducing slowly. I had a month where I lost 2 lbs, but went from 9.5% to 8.1% body fat. When you're that low, you may not change weight. Also, how are your workouts going? Are you getting stronger? Do you have more endurance? Are you more explosive? These are great metrics to go by as well.

My main objective is to lower body fat, and at the moment i am 23% i am a pear shape so you can see my abs but still got fat on my lower body. I have cut on calories so I've lost a bit of strength but overall I'm doing fine with my workouts. My point is that how can i don't lose any weight with a caloric deficit? i do not mind about the scale much, and tbh my legs are changing a bit but i have been at this point for over 4 months and i have tried recoup, deficits, change routine....still nothing..0
