I don't know how to feel about this. Has Dole gone too far?

I have more clear cut feelings on Mr. T stripper haircuts than these chocolate dipped fruits in the frozen food aisle.

Do the striped ones resemble a mohawk, as would would expect from a topless British cosmetology tart?

I don't think I could do it. The thought of it is kinda revolting.

Now, dipping fresh fruit in chocolate, All for it...

Really? Did the fruit seem well flash frozen?

Eric... I'm clipping coupons before grocery shopping, and these are things we need to hash out before I go. I can't make a decision without the support of MFP. You know this....

I always want to dip fruit in chocolate, but I know I'm too lazy to go through all that effort.

This cuts out the middle man. Thumbs up.

Um, so I guess those have sugar, right? Are children allowed to eat them? I hope schools don't start offering them at lunch.

This is an unacceptable travesty. Dole just wants to keep us all addicted so they can make money and stuff and whatever.

Have you been in a school cafeteria lately? You can't even get a vodka tonic! They told me it's because of the sugar in the tonic water, not the vodka.

Pretty good, low in cals and satisifes the sweet tooth!

I saw those at Harris Teeter this past weekend. I would have bought the strawberry ones but they were almost $6 for the one tiny box! I'd rather make my own. I ended up buying the Greek Frozen yogurt with Raspberry. 100 calories for 1 cup.

You notice how, in that picture, they do what Nutella does to make you think it's something other than the filling of Ferrero Roche chocolates? (In case you didn't know that Nutella is made by Ferrero and that's what it is). In all advertisements for Nutella, they took the product and paired it with something healthy ("whole grain waffles", for example) to give the illusion that the food itself was healthy. I'd say this is going on with both the above picture in the photo and the Dole strawberries. Illusion of healthy + tastes good is a big seller.

I tried the strawberry ones. The strawberries were kind of tasteless.

The Nutella commercials crack me up. The mom is like, "It's hard getting my kids to eat breakfast, so I smear frosting on their toast! Mission: accomplished."

This is just catering to the laziness of society.

6 packs of 2 strawberries? Probably cost about $5 per box. $5 for 12 frozen strawberries?

I'd rather make 2 dozen of my own for half the price.

I've also got to question the inclusion of celery in that promo. Who dips celery in chocolate? That's just vile.
