15 pounds lost since March 1st!

This also mean:
2 inches lost from my bust
3.5 inches lost from my high waist
2 inches lost from my low waist
1.5 inches lost from my hips
0.5 inches lost from my thighs (yeah they're stubborn)
0.5 inches lost from my biceps

It's been slow progress but steady. And more importantly, this is a result of my commitment to a lifestyle change, not a diet! I haven't been perfect but when I indulge, I don't let it send me into a downward spiral of days or weeks of bad eating! I get right back on track the next meal. I just wanted to share my progress! I will be fitting back into my shorts by 4 of July! Good luck everyone and stay healthy this weekend.

March 1 to May 16 and down 15 lbs isn't slow!!! I've been at this since mid-January and I'm at 17 lbs down. So WTG! You're doing great! Also, even bigger congrats on the inches - changing your body comp!

Great job! I am in a similar place as you! Started on March 17th and am down 14 lbs.. hopefully more come this Monday!

Getting into and looking decent in a pair of shorts is one of my goals, too!

To summer... and a healthier lifestyle :drinker:

Have a great weekend as well!

Thank you all for your sweet and encouraging comments!!! It means the world to me!

I guess you are all correct, now that I think about it 1.5 pounds a week is not a slow loss. However, I have not lost weight at the rate of 1.5 pounds a week since March 1st. I dropped about 9 pounds of "water weight" the first week due to cutting down on carbs. Then I sort of plateaued for a few weeks. Then I stuck with it and another pound or two came off. Then I plateaued again. Until today of course. Before today I had been hovering at the same weight for around 3 weeks. But like I said, I've made a lifestyle change and it has paid off so far.

So I guess that's why it seemed slow to me, although in retrospect, it is not that slow!

Just goes to show that weight loss is not always linear I suppose!

Spot. On. I will plateau for a couple/few weeks, then drop a pound and a half or two, then bounce back up a half a pound, then level out... it's so variable with water/hormones/exercise.
