WOMEN OVER 60 - YOU KNOW THE BELLY THING

So I'm turning 65 in a few months. I was an athletic as a kid and thin until my forties and Menopause. Now I can't seem to lose weight or stick with an exercise program. Not very disciplined. The belly is flap.

How do we address belly fat in a honest way - no gimmicks or tricks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Look forward to hearing from other women.

I appreciated your post, and was looking forward to reading a response but there were none! I've just gone through menopause, am 52, and I am thin and fit all over, except now I have a roll on my belly. It's maddening because I don't have fat anywhere else on my body and I'm a good weight for my height. Help, anyone! No gimmicks, no quick fixes please. Just some honest help would be appreciated.

I'm going to be 65 next month and I'm doing a good job of working my way back down to goal weight. I had the flabby belly conversation with myself last night. A healthy weight and a flabby belly seems wrong. I know I can be better My next step is to start planking. I hear it's the best core exercise. I'm hopeful someone will offer some guidance too.

Well, I am not over 60, and the OP of the link I'm posting isn't over 60, but I think the information is excellent for any age.
