Could Drinking TOO much water of skewed results?

I had fish and chips last saturday, weighed on monday, had lost 3lbs, this week i had a better diet yet its only nearer 2lbs. Could this because I drank so much water on saturday to prevent water weight??

    It's hard to tell. Weight naturally fluctuates and is nothing to worry about.

    I understand it fluctuates its just the fact it has been so linear and consistant and this week it was slightly off.
