I need help stopping, i can't go a day with out counting all my calories now. It started out a healthy and good little habit but now it's ruling my life. I promise myself some days that i will go a day without logging but i can't help myself. I'm so scared of not knowing exactly what's in what i'm eating and i don't know why. I know what i'm eating is healthy so why do i care so much?

This has been going on for over a year now and i want to stop before this progresses into even more of a severe problem as a lot of people are worried about me.

Even though I'm not at my goal weight, I'm the same way.. Its definitely not healthy. I find its a bit easier to not be EXACT about the calories if I know I worked out really hard and did like 2-3 hours of physical activity ina day, like say an hour long walk, 45 minutes of weights, and 40 minutes of cardio. That kind of day and then intermitten fasting where I eat all my calories in one meal, I know for sure I don't have to count because I make my food at home, and 1400 calories is a lot to consume in a homecooked meal. Different if you're eating out or drinking alcohol of course.

I think if you've been doing it long enough you should be able to trust yourself that you can go a day without logging if you really want to.

Eh I'm not planning on stopping. I think logging is healthier than not logging and worrying about how many calories you are eating.

But if it bothers you that much, go see a therapist.
