A couple of years a go I was told I needed open heart surgery. I was also told that they could not perform the surgery because of my weight. They also told me because of diabetes and several other weight related issues that I would not live for more than 5 years if I didn't sort myself out.

I changed my lifestyle.

Earlier this week I was taken off all the diabetes drugs as I no longer need them.
Today I got a letter from the hospital confirming my surgery will take place on June 6th :-)
