12:03am, so I guess I"m actually starting this today, not tomorrow! The plan is to use the calorie calculator, eat better, go to the gym twice a week, and basically get this parked car moving again. Fairly typical I'm guessing, but I'm going to stick with it!

If you are trying for weight reduction, that sounds like a plan. This is a great tool for that. I've maintained fairly well for a year and a half on this site.
To lose weight. Reduce intake (calories) and increase outflow (exercise)... Don't discount an increase in GENERAL mobility. Exercise is important but so is increasing your base rate of motion... Just do more. Do things that you ENJOY. Work for moderate weight loss and don't try to do too much too fast. Start where you are and enjoy the journey.
Oh, weight training works wonders as well. Increase your strength. Also, by all means work toward fitness rather than mere weight loss. If your only goal is weight loss, when you get there, you lose momentum. Work toward fitness. That way you always have a goal in front of you and that really should be the goal anyway -- get healthier.
Best wishes on every success.0 -
Thanks for the encouragement. Two days done. Got silly and ate two greasy burgers, though earned most of the calories back by extending my time on the elliptical. Brain cramps are allowed to happen, right?0
