Food Prep Sunday
Replies

I try to do some prep work on Sunday for my breakfasts and lunches. I grill a fair amount of chicken and steak. Although I have been making some shrimp too. I have many different dry rubs I use on my protein so I does not get too boring. I am running out of ideas for breakfast as I am not a huge fan of eggs and a get to work by 5am so I don't have a quick way to cook them up anyway.0

I tend to prep on the days I know that I have to work...so I prepped for 4 days this week.
I buy boneless, skinless chicken for lunches and put different types of dry rubs on it so that it will be different each day. For my dinners, I will do salmon, tilapia or haddock and do a lemon rub or italian herb on it.
If I have access to a BBQ, I will put all my protein on the grill, but I will usually bake it. I put each in a container with rice or veggies and put it in the freezer, then pull it out the day before I need it.
I will prep my crackers & hummus/dips in baggies and containers. And have my portions ready for my smoothies or juices.
I found I can control my hunger so much better when I have my portions under control, and find I'm not having immense cravings like I used to.
It's a pain in the butt to take 2-3 hours out of the afternonto do it but I found that it is saving me money and calories for sure!!0
