Losing motivation :(

I've been dieting for about 8 weeks and using MFP for about 6 of those and have so far lost 3 lbs and 1 inch off my hips.

I exercise pretty much every day doing yoga, pole fitness and I've recently starting running, and consuming a net calorie of 1200.

I now however am losing motivation as all my hard work doesn't appear to be paying off any.

Feeling deflated :(

Stick with it...I've just begun this journey as well and I'm down 8lbs. One thing we have to realize is that weight gain will not happen overnight. It will take a while to get these pounds off but the end result will be worth it. Surround yourself with people who are positive and want to see you succeed. That makes a difference, this MFP family makes a difference as well. We are all in the same boat reaching for the same goals. The only difference is my amount of pounds might be more or less than yours...that is it...don't allow your great motivation when you started to decline just because the scale doesn't show you more pounds lost. Keep moving...keep striving...stop focusing on the pounds and put your full focus on eating right and exercising....the pounds will come off...they have to!!!

It sounds like you need to change something up. I'd try to incorporate more weightlifting/resistance training into your exercise regime. It's a great way to boost your metabolism.
